It's nice. But if I'm honest, I find it perhaps a bit too heavy on the effects for my liking. That's just a personal taste thing though - not too fond of garish stuff. But I presume that look was your intent so if it was then yeah, very nice.

How do you feel about it? What were your thought processes prior to doing it?

Is the band real or is this a made up graphics project? I hope they're a psychedelia band or retro, otherwise it may mislead (unless that is your intention of course). The choice of typeface is certainly retro. Reminds me of old British TV shows like The Protectors and The Champions for some reason.

I don't quite understand the landscape orientation of the image for a album cover. Unless the CD packaging would be custom sized, then it won't work as it currently stands. It's more like a postcard or something.

I'd say the composition looks a little odd: there's little on the left side apart from all the swirls etc. and the text "Instant Awesome" looks like it's there just to fill the gap. It's very close to the left edge of the image. If you had it printed properly and the printers guillotined it tightly or slightly wrong then you could loose some of the "I".

I don't have a problem with the name etc.

As for "So hot that you can taste it" JKK, that sounds more like one of them Glam records you seem to love so much :P

So what kind of music is it, ExcruciationX?

EDIT: Just seen your request for an Organ player, so I know it's a DC Emu band. Sadly my musical talents are poor to non-existent apart from the odd note when I break wind.

I think as long as you're happy with the look of it then pursue that. At the end of the day if you're happy with it and the band are, then good job. Just a case of getting it to work with the right size dimensions (if it's a standard CD cover).

Can we hear them anyway? They're going to be all glam rock aren't they :rolleyes:

BTW liking the newer cover more. It fits better and the the text looks more balanced than the previous one.
