Umm?
Anyone?
Upgrade to the very first M33 release (found on Dark Alex's website), after that you can update to 3.90M33, any version after 3.80 has network update.
Can you help me through all of this? Thanks, I haven't used PSP CFW for a while.
Okay, I am doing the upgrade to 3.52M33 when I have charged my battery. Then I will update to 3.90M33.
What are the chances of a brick, I know what todo and tbh, I am not exactly going o blow the PSP up ;).
Im not to sure about a brick, but if it does brick you could use recovery menu or pandoras battery to unbrick.
It hangs at 'Please Wait'.
I am on 3.53M33-3, any advice?
What hangs?
The update to 3.90M33
Ok the main problem for you on 3.03 OE-C is, you need to update to 3.52 M33 before you can do anything unfortunatly.
After you have 3.52 M33, the installation is completely simple as you only need 2 files haha.
Here's what you need to do!
Download 3.90 m33-2 from http://www.dark-alex.org
Download 3.90 Official Update from http://uk.playstation.com/help-suppo.../Download-now/
All you need to do then, is extract the 3.90 m33-2 and copy that to the GAME folder in PSP on your Memory Stick. And then rename the official update from EBOOT.PBP to 390.PBP and put it in the UPDATE folder.
Then use that on 3.52 M33 to get onto 3.90 m33-2.
Done! :D Enjoy! You can also signup to Go!Messenger if you didn't know on 3.90. If you are in US though, you will have to fake your region to Europe in the recovery menu.
lmao, sorry about that. Completely misread haha.
You need M33-4. Update using the files at www.dark-alex.org
Hey guys my PSP is on 3.52 m33-4 and when I try updating to 3.80 m33 or 3.90 m33 it unpacks then says please wait and does nothing (like scottyboynow). I have to remove the battery and reboot to get it back to the menu and its still 3.52 m33-4. Any help with this?
It says M33-3 or higher.
Borak: You need to go into recovery mode by clicking the R button on powerup after a HARD reset. You can do this by holding the power switch up until the PSP goes off, when it does, turn it back on again, but hold the 'R' trigger.
In 'Configuration' change your kernel mode to 3.52.
Then it should work, I was kicking myself because of that lol :p.
Cheers m8 its working now! Much love to ya! :)
