I joined for psp news purposes
psp homebrew definitly, i think the psp scene kicked up the popularity of dcemu after a while.
PSP Homebrew, Cool People, Me Coding, and nice staff and i dunno now i kinda just stay around off topic since i dont have PSP anymore but i can't wait till the wii homebrew gets big

Anyway, for me - well when I first joined a long time ago, it was just for downloads, like many here do. Then I started posting a bit more, seeing the wonderful community and forums at the time. Now today, it's mainly the news posting that keeps me here.

First I found it probably after looking for psp homebrew, then I moved on (no downgrader), Saw N64 Retexturing, then joined to get it to work. Left for a while, then came back and posted

because i think it has the best and most reliable source of news for psp. and the forums have plenty of different categories and genres. and they archive the files well, and no I'm not just sucking up to the webmasters and admins, i do actually believe these things.
It's the community. We have a great community at dcemu, I can come in having had the worst day in recorded history, and people will actually come in and support me.
To me dcemu has the greatest community in the world. I'll be here till my last breath as an old man. :cool:

The news, mainly. I didn't have the first clue about PSP developments and so on before joining. Found the news to be somewhat informative and organized, so I'd check up on it every so often. Got reading the replies, and thought '**** it this is about as much sense as I'm going to get from an community mainly consisting of pubeless gobshites.' (compliment in there somewhere)
There's also a few posters, besides coders, who know more than I could ever possibly grasp, so I make sure to read up on their input.
