Hey I live in Canada but I changed my region to europe so I have both skype and go!messenger

Will go!messenger work for us in North America come friday?

Yes it should do, but as pointed out earlier, this service is likely to become a subscription.

If GoMessenger! could only phone landlines/mobiles, it would be the perfect phat-Skype. Cos let's face it, I doubt most of the Slim users will be even able to accept calls giving that:
a, Their PSPs need to be on
b, They need to be in a wifi hotspot

so by the looks of that, Skype would only be useful for me for outgoing calls/messages.

Yeah, it's released. But it won't work for other regions. I get an error message. "Error 404--Not Found" when I try to register.

But still, it looks really cool.

U can register , but it will take some tries as the server is loaded , u can register on your pc then sign in on the psp after ...
I just register and i am in jamaica:thumbup:
