    im having trouble with my emulators on 4.01m33-2 like snes gba nes gbc. i got popsloader working just fine and i got CXMB working just fine. i creat the folder GAME4XX and i did it a few other ways but its not even coming up as corrupted data. its like their not even thier. anyway around this. i hear that this firmware runs alot better but i cant seem to get them working and i cant find anything online about them.

    EDIT: i also even tried the GAME150 folder, till someone can help me out with this im staying with 3.90m33-3. i can upgrade and downgrade whenever i want too.

    hi all i have got psp slim cfw 3.71m33 can i update to cfw 4.01m33 ??

    please help... It keeps saying "The Game Cannot be started"

    I'm new to psp homebrew, so if anyone could help that would be wonderful, i'm using a fat psp, and i've only downloaded the original 4.01 update from sony...

    I am going to say this once, and once only.

    You CANNOT go directly from 4.01 to 4.01M33, it DOES NOT WORK.

    You need to downgrade to 1.50 in order to get to 4.01M33 (if you have a phat, slim process is a bit different).

    official firmware (4.01 in this case) > 1.50 > 3.52M33-3 > 3.71M33 > 4.01M33

    You cannot run the updater without 1.50 firmware or custom firmware.

    hi Slap, i think you need to go up to 3.80m33 first and then just use network update to get to 4.01M33.

    it has been a while since I looked at my PSP, I still have 3.40 OE-A, what route do I have to take to upgrade to the latest firmware and where can I find the files I need? btw, I have the thick psp not the slim

    Any HELP is greatly appreciated

    You should buy a tool battery and use some easy installer get to custom firmware then install this.
