What FW do I need for this? I'm tempted to buy it after Christmas when I get a bit of money, but I'm currently running 5.00 M33-6.

Tried on 4.01M33 & 5.00M33 but just refuses to work, i tried all versions of Yoshihiro's decrypter and Eboot patcher but always shows error code, i know it works on 5.50GEN so guess it's time to upgrade.

I have no idea how to upgrade from 5.00M33 to 5.50GEN I guess it means I can't use my custom theme either.

Guys, just update, you're not going to lose anything... Note, this only works on 5.50 GEN-D2 and above. M33 is old news now, dax is out of the scene, get with the times.

Yeah just got up the courage to update to 5.50GEN D-2 and the game does work, after updating i thought all my fears about GEN Cfw came true for a minute there, after update the screen showed 'unsupported fw version please power off' or something like that, eventually i restarted without memory stick in and it booted up and after formatting card it now works.

and the version of CXMB that works on 5.00 M33 also works on 5.50 GEN-d

Ah that's what I wanted to hear.

Any guides on how to upgrade from 5.00 M33-6 to 5.50GEN?
