    More games being tested:

Chrono Trigger (In the Final Fantasy Chronicles disk set, along with Final Fantasy 4)
Status: Works, but moves slow. Also, black streak lines appears throughout the game.

    Street Fighter Alpha 3
Status: Works, but moves slow. Also, the timer never goes down and the characters cannot move in the game.

Spyro the Dragon - Works (!!!)
You don't need to know my mental status. You probably don't want to, either.

    Updated

Abe's exodus (disc 1) -Partialy Works (intro and menus, gameplay untill first hand switch, some graphical glicthes)

eternal eyes - doesn't work stuck on loading screen

    dark stone - doesn't work

I have tested .z format and .znx it crashed psp. I personly don't think pocket iso z or znx format is compatible right now. I also tried various options using pocket iso 2.1

    Psp version 1.51

Do we know what format is best? I read a lot of problems using *.iso files. But has anyone verified that other versions are running smoother, or work for those that don't?

If we can verify this, then I think it would be easier to compile a better compatibility list. I gues the best way is when someone tests a game, convert it to each different format and find which is best. It'll be a whole lot of work, but what do you all think?

Compressed isos can definetly contribute to lag as we see with PSP games being ISO verse CSO. But bin vs iso wont be a factor. If its compressed than yeah.

Every time I try to run a game, all I get is a black screen and a flashing memory stick access light. This has happened with Internal Section, Jumping Flash 2, and Intelligent Qube... do these games simply not work, or have I installed the emulator incorrectly? I've got the BIOS file where it's supposed to be.

You read the first post ta make sure the games are even playable? I suggest getting a copy of a confirmed working game like ff7 and see if that works for ya. and DO NOT ASK for an ISO or ask how to get em HERE.

I just tried eternal eyes using a rip from iso producer vs iso buster. I get the same results. Either one seems to be fine.

All you guys testing using z and znx formats, im pretty sure this is not working properly. Try testing again with out compression.

I can't wait for the new version, I can see from the small amount of things working that it will play at very playable speeds once things are worked out a bit. Thanks alot A.C. and thanks waggster for your efforts. Can't wait untill the next release.

Default X-Com UFO Defense - Works

Uncompressed direct rip tested. CD-Audio tracks not removed (I would like advice on how).
Also tested: clocked to 333 MHz using iRShell - Successful

Notes: Cut scenes play well; no sound (expected); slow/chugs; some highlight/cursor selections are not visible making data entry and menu navigation a chore (but possible with patience and good memory); button presses are inconsistently recorded unless pressed firmly without lingering; minor graphical glitches (like small black lines/dashes in certain places, overlays inconsistent, etc).

Overall, a playable game! (for the first time).

Just tried a rip of an old copy of jumping flash 1, doesn't work, the memory stick flashes for a few seconds then you're left with a blank screen.
