you need to consider that bullying is a real everyday fact of life in UK. Where as Car Jacking is not. We have a no guns law here so Gun crime accounts for less than 1% of violent crime. We don't need to worry that UK kids will nip outside and "emulate" their fav computer game.

And the hookers thing, well someone needs to support a vaulable part of our economy! Ahem...

It does seem a bit backwards sometimes, like changing the game name "Bully" to "Canis Canem Edit", changing the name doesnt change the content of the game itself, so the name change has accomplished nothing.

I have also heard the euro release of GTA:VCS is less gory (or something) than the US release, which I also think is stupid, you removed some blood here and there, it doesnt change the fact you are still killing people in it.

The people "supposed" to be buying the games like this are "supposed" to be of an age they can make there own decisions (18+) so why change the games at all?

As for the advertisments, aslong as the adverts dont depict anything abusive or that people below the age of the target audience shouldnt see, then I dont see a problem with them, its the minority ruining it for the majority as usual.

    (rant over )

The US are a bunch of hypocrites. They will invade any country at will and bomb innocent civilians but are concerned about video games. Anyway kids can watch the same stuff on prime television each night or better yet just watch the evening news and see war and murder nightly. They need to get their heads out of their butts.

That and the fact that porn is more easily accessible than "Mature" video games. That's truly funny.
