for the games that only have BBA support would it be possible to fool the DC when it tries to connect into thinking a modem attached to a PC via dc2pc connection is actually a game using a BBA on the DC? I mean how hard is it to find the parts for the BBA? That CSI company in Japan seemed to have enough lieing around to make new BBAs. Plus how was the LAN adaptor created if the DC recognizes no foreign broadband hardware?? And making some of these new online homebrew games could channel their connection to the net with a CC cord going into a USB port or cable modem?

the modem is the bottle next, you can't fool it into thinking its a bba, it can only handle 56k or 36k thats it. But is will run at max speed when connected broadband via a p.c. since when useing dail up you never get the top speed of the modem.

The problem with making you own bba is not hardware but a firmware problem... i think

It is often provided on flash ROMs or as a binary image file that can be uploaded onto existing hardware by a user.

If thats the answer is it legally possible and technologically possible to get that firm/software off a BBA then put it on a Lan Adaptor/h-bru to create desired effects?????????????? source:wikipedia

I'm gonna get mine for € 100, (boxed I think, used, with original disc and homebrew browser) + postage or fuel for car if I'm gonna drive over there.

    Via www.nozomi.nl (also in English).

In the forum: "import store" at the top ( here you can always ask Ken (Akihabara on NTSC-UK) for any retro stuff straight from Japan) or "off topic" buy & sell (for local sellers from Belgium/ Netherlands), mostly in Dutch.
