    Default Probably a simple question

What is Flashing? And what exactly does flashing your PSP do?

flashing is sort of like updating your computer. what it does is write to your psp's insides. it could be dangerous if it doesn't get all the info right or if something important is deleted. flashing your psp makes it where you can downgrade your psp or update. but, your firmware has to be able to be flashed for downgrading.

Flashing is when you expose yourself to someone not expecting it. What it does to your PSP? Probably nothing being that its probably only interested in interfacing with other PSPs
