I think you have got the wrong idea here. This news is about us being able to play any PSX game on the official emulator including the ones we already own. In this case, Medievil requiring 3.03 firmware isn't a factor since you will be able to use your own ripped copy of Medievil and play it on this official emulator.

Dont goto ps2nfo. they are a bad group of people. don't ask why just don't go there. but i do like the whole go to sleep early thing though. that is funny.

I would have been happy to purchase games from an online store to be able to run my favourite Psx titles on my Psp but when I heard that you would initially have to own a PS3 I wasn't very impressed. I see the official Sony Psx emulator being cracked as karma for Sony being so greedy.

OMG OMG OMG my favorite game running on the PSP for PSX. I thought SONY was reporting each game tot he PSP and just running them on the memory stick. This is totally a mind bender!!! OMG HELL YES!!!
