Whats the Best Option for Big File Storage on PSP ?

i would have to say the last one looks good, but u need to carry it around, so i go with the first, and is the best choice for traveling purposes

i hav a microSD to memstick pro duo adaptor (same size as psp memstiks) now i juss buy microSD chips since deyre cheaper den da ms ones... i got ma gig microSd for 20 buks so outta all those options @ da top, id choose 3.

The first option which has space for an internal 2.5" drive. Get that, a 100gb 2.5" drive, get the WiFi addon and have Windows preinstalled from the factory.

Using WiFiHostfs, get the directories setup on there, send your music and movies over and use irShell to access it.

Use wifi encryption because essentially, you'd become a walking access point. (Or use USBHostFS and use a USB cable.)

Only problem with it, is that you'd need a battery pack for it, if one can be found, to make it portable and it would need to be fully charged before any long treks. If the windows put on it supports hibernation, then you could easily turn it off, and turn it back and be right where you left off (no need for a screen).

Keep this in your backpack or cargo pocket while your PSP resides in your other pocket. Its a done deal

(of course its a little bulky, being like carrying another PSP with you, but it gets the job done and has massive storage capabilities.)

I've been wishing I could do this ever since I've gotten my psp. Never use the UMD, but and extra 20-60 gigs that go along with a hard drive would be ridiculously sweet. The question is, how can the psp interface with the hard drive? It would be sweet to basically rip out the UMD drive, and stick what's equivalent to the Ipods internal hard drive into the psp.

lets see now...the double expand is quite frankly rubbish - it suffered severely from corruption - so much so i lost a 50% complete gta save which wasnt backed up - i also lost many games although those were replaceable (homebrew ones). i lost movies as well. all in all it would be my last choice.
the datel device has reportedly had problems with some programs or videos (not sure really just know its had issues). i cant say if the neo adaptor is any better but its much more expensive than the datel one so maybe it is better than it. if the neo one is as bad as the datel then thats why i would make this my third choice.
the data bank is useless in itself without having a decent size memory stick as well. this would be my second choice.
so in conclusion - the only real choice is a genuine memory stick or one of the half decent fakes (i got quite lucky with mines).
