MAP THIS! version 0.461S (beta) with support for PSP-290 GPS accessory

Got my first chance to enter in to the world of Home Brew. I have downgraded my TA-082 JAP PSP fw3.03 to 1.50 and to then 3.03 OE-C. The first thing i have done was to test my PSP290 with mapthis!

There was no problems at all ... It worked fine.

As of now it seems ok, and tonight i ll be checking it in more locations as i m planing a ride with my PSP . I ll keep taking the screen and if any probs i ll let u know

Hi.
I have several problems with my PSP and my GPS-290.

I have 3.03OEC firm, but one of my friends use the program in 3.02OEB, I put my psp in 1.5,next in 3.02OEA, next in 3.02OEB but I cant use the program.

Now I have 3.03OEB and I have put my PRX with my psar in the folder, but when I execute de program and select my map( the map is in gpsfs extension) and put my gps on( with square button) the program cant locate me.
I use the fix of deniska for this version.

I find 3-4 satellites, but cant locate me.

What can I do?
Plz, If someone can use the program with officil GPS receiver, do you can put your folder in megaupload?.
All mapviewer folder except maps, plz.

Im spanish and I dont speak english very well, sorry.

Thanks for the heads up about the Holux 240/236 cable. Now, i'm starting to think that the holux receiver is a better way to go, especially since I have bluetooth built into my laptop. The holux 240 could take care of both the PSP and my laptop.

This is way off-topic, so please pardon me, but could anyone suggest a software to use with the Holux 240 on a Windows Vista PC?

Or maybe there could be a way to port MapThis! onto my PC, seeing how there's already a program to download the maps off of google/MSN.

Again, sorry for going off-topic, but i have no idea of where to even start looking.

I guess now I'll start watching the thread for the non-PSP290 MapThis!.

i am haven a similar problem as Rhipone. I can find sat but they don't find me..
I am in japan.
i know that my 290 works because when i use the gps test program i get a fix and it is very quick. I am also using 3.03 oec. I have used usbgps and usbacc from fw2.71.
i did get a fix with mapthis earlier today but it has stopped working again.

it's free and it sure works with holux units
Not to sure about the commercial sw titles)
