The only difference between that and gaming is that gaming comes with no ms pro duo to ms converter and is a different color:

Oh ok so there is no difference in speed or anything. And you dont even need the converter since psp uses pro duo right?

All my sticks are non gaming, they are usually better in speed and every thing else.
they're cheaper too, because of marketing. more people like seethru sticks they never see than plain blue ones, so they pay more.

I tested my brothers 1gb sony vs my friends 1 gb sandisk gaming and using hdtach it showed my brothers read at 11.6 mbps and my friends 16.4 mbps and when i got my 4gb gaming it showed at 16.4 mbps

All Sandisk cards are faster than Sony ones.
I have both a 1gb Sandisk gaming and a 1gb Sandisk non-gaming. They are the same speed.
