Deniska, would it be possible to allow the search function to find specific streets?

I find that in areas where the address blocks aren't correct or updated yet with the geodata files, it just fails to find the road entirely.

    Example:
16200 block of San Dieguito Rd., Rancho Sante Fe, CA 92067 - This comes up as no match found whatsoever.

A glance at the geodata files suggests that it does not know about those addresses, as all it sees is the 4000 block of San Dieguito Rd. - However the search does not find this address either, so you are left with no leads to try and locate the road itself on the map.

Basically, is it possible to remove the address number constraint from the search function and allow us the capability of doing a search for the street itself? It would allow folks the option of finding the address themselves if the geodata isn't updated. -OR- bring up whichever other address block exists in the geodata for that street. The street I found today can't be the only instance of this problem.

I find that when I don't include an address number it either comes up with nothing at all, or it produces the last search result that it actually found, regardless of location/street name/city.

I've tried different combinations with "usbacc.prx" and "usbgps.prx" (2.71; 3.03; maplus) but nothing seems to work
My location is Beckum, a small town near Hannover (Germany). I'm using CF 3.03 oe-c, MapThis 0.461S, PSP 290 GPS, mostly the 2.71 and maplus prx-files and a map of my hometown created with GMDL at standart settings an a min. zoom of 2.
Does anyone of you know a solutoin to my problem?
    downgrade to cf 3.03 oe-b

Ok, I'll add this as part of the "Relaxed Search" feature for the next release.

What does it mean "not ok" ?

MapIt comes up, but when you hit "GSP on" there is nothing? In that case use the green progi...

If not, describe what you do and what you see and what you expect to see.
