Can Nintendo sell 35 willion Wii’s by 2012?

if they sold 7+ million in a short time, i bet they will sell more than 35 million by 2012, that is unless PS3 makes a comeback with a lower price, better compatiability and bigger games like FFXIII and MGS4.

the wii will sell like the ds as soon as they get their act together with production

Well, this is the amount sold worldwide, and he is talking about selling 35 milions in USA. Which is not impossible, because ps2 has already sold 40 milions in seven years.

I believe in selling more than 100 milion around the world, considering new markets being opened, as the BRIC's. Thinking about 4 people per family, and 6 bilion people in the world, this means 1 wii for each 15 families. It's not that much.

Well, in many places it is... mainly in the more populated countries...
