Have you got kernal set to 3.40?
So, one day I updated psp FW to 3.40 oe-a (from 3.10 oe-a) and after few days when I tried to run my gta lcs (game is original) it don't work , there was writen "the game could not be started 80020148" , that's is very strange , because game is original. I try to run iso game Smackdown vs raw and everythink work vell only when in recovery mode Use no umd is Enabled, if it is disabled it dont work it is a black screen and psp shut down.
so the same error is on few other isos (80020148) so I need help to fix it
(sorry for my language I am not an englishman)
Have you got kernal set to 3.40?
yeah I tried to play in both kerners ( 1.5 and 3.40) but it's won't help at all it still the same error (80020148)
Can you explain how to play in kernel 3.40. I've just downgraded using the Lumines exploit but it shows corrupt data and whenever i try stuff i get the same 'game could not be started'
have you got it in the right folder? its game340 on 3.40oea .. what are you trying to run? I been having probs myself. i found that formatting flash1 and doing full dgrade to 1.50 then up to 3.40 solved all problems
I downgraded and installed 3.40oe and whenever i copy anything across like the remote control app or daedalus n64 emulator it shows them in the menu but there is a corrupt file too and comes up with the message.
I have managed to get a Breakout game to work. All I do is drag and drop the two files across to the psp/GAME/ folder.
The system information screen shows I'm running at 3.40oe but i'm not sure how to go back to 1.50 and try that.
For most games and emulators you must put then in GAME150 folder. GAME340 is for homebrew or apps wich uses 3.40 kernel. GAME folder will use the kernel mode wicho you have selected in recovery mode... but sometimes you must switch kernel mode to 1.50.
Only Basilisk 2 and Super Mario Wars required to me switch to kernel 1.50 mode ...
So I have to create two new folders /GAME150 and /GAME340 as they were not created during downgrade
