How exactly do i go about recovering to a previous firmware with the recovery menu?

can the psp be downgraded simply by running the FW1.50 update?
Have you tried restoring default settings? If that doesn't work, you need to put the 1.50 eboot in the GAME/ RECOVERY folder and launch it from the recover menu

Just reinstall this custom firmware... but next time back up before custom theming ( thats why it keeps freezing)
you dont need to downgrade to 1.5 first

How strange, do you have the 3.40 oe (or w/e c-fw you were using before) update you made? That should work. Else you could try reinstalling 3.51 m33 using the recovery folder.

NO WAY!!! I haven't really seen anything worth posting to lately (which is why I've been missing) but this is defiently worth it. I'm gonna be installing this, I just hope I don't get the same problem as Xcliber.

Ive looked at 3 different forums and lots of people saying they upgraded succesfully, and not one saying they bricked and/ or anything bad about it.

lilswish- that was nothing to do with the firmware... he didnt backup before he tried flashing custom themes
