I have no custom xmb stuff, and still can't the m33 driver to work.
Well, to clarify a few things the M33 drivers DO work better on SOME games than others, but the major factor is the compatability with your console, dont ask me why or how, maybe its the icons/ gameboots/ XMB sounds etc ( I havent got time to try out removing customisations and re-introducing stuff to find faults yet) but between me and a few others we all have different games working, my GTA: LCS will not boot at all, yet Jordans will, my Killzone works perfectly, yet if I swap memory sticks out on the XMB the new stick then wont work.
This is a good release, but, like the M33 firmware- still needs the wrinkles ironing out.
Thanks M33 for the latest update, look forward to another patch in a day or two :

Yes,actually this is not good enough, since they're just starting to the Custom Firmware thing. Let's give them time and let's see! These guys are making me happy, these quick updates are welcome. They're not what we expect them to be,but they still are welcome. As I always said,it's better than nothing.![]()
Hey thanks mikebeaver! I really owe you one!
Well I might as well ask here.. Would anyone be interested in helping me complete the PSP Custom Firmware FAQ? Just send me an Instant Message to my MSN and I'll tell you what I could use help with finding/testing. Thanx!
I guess DCEmu has changed and now supports ISOs.
we dont support downloading isos and helping where to get them or how to run them.
Sorry to ask, but if i have a UMD all back-ups work, am i correct????
We DO support Isos. What we DON'T support are ILLEGAL Isos.
Don't be sorry. That's why we are here,to help others. That's the purpose of a forum.
And the answer is NO. If you have a UMD you could still have problems. That depends on your firmware, some firmwares run more back-ups than others, like for example,3.51M33 run the games from 3.51 firmware and 3.40 OE doesn't.![]()
I dont think you will find ANY link's on DC Emu to ANY pirated ISO's, CSO's, DAX's etc, you might find a link to an update to a custom firmware, which MAY have a greater NO-UMD compatability rate than previous firmwares but it most certainly isnt piracy or supporting it.
This patch allows you to run back-up's of your own games, if you choose to download illegal copies of games that you dont own then you are a pirate, plain and simple, but dont try and bring DC Emu down to that level please it is a good news site and is dedicated to giving us news of ALL developments in the PSP scene.
V3NOM: give me a shout and i'll seee what I can do to help you out with that FAQ, I have done a lot of customising etc with M33, mainly so I could find out what did or didnt cause my PSP to crash everytime etc.
im sorry if this sounds like stupid noob question but can someone please explain what No-UMD is?
