Only if you have access to a homebrew capable PSP can you create the battery and memory stick.
This has probably been asked already but, is there anyway that this benifits those who were dumb enough to get the official 3.52 firmware. Because I don't have many friends with a PSP, and the ones that do have 3.52.

Anyone have any idea if this works for a partial brick?
I got a partial brick nearly a year ago, bought the modchip but could never get an installer, I miss my Psp

it works on any pspdid u even bother reading the title of the thread?
Well yeah, but I heard from somebody that the mod chip might not even work on mine, due to the screwed up state its in (except for 1.5 games) , so I just wanted clarification before I tried this (though I don't have much to lose really!)
what if i brick my psp its 3.52 then try the pandoras battery thing will i still need another psp with custom firmware or the original 1.50 kernal?
read the readme! and first 10 pages.
in other words:
yes
you need a PSP that can run 3rd party software to prep a battery and a memstick for use with this process
this process changes some stuff in an on board chip in the battery to make it think it's a "service mode battery" that's coming from Sony. and the other app is to extract an important file from the 1.50 update [not sure on this] and then to write said file to the memstick so when this process begins, the PSP/battery knows what to do on it's own, and all you have to do is follow instructions that the system displays.....which is read....and hit X when you need to, lol.
so idk, if your in school make a thread for all those that go to your school in your area that are in your grade that might be on this site, and they'll most likely have a PSP that can run 3rd party software and be able to help you out
good luck
ps
you don't need to brick the PSP first, you can just do it and it'll go hence why this is called a "Un-Bricker/Universal Downgrader"
This is amzing! I deleted my flash so i couldnt boot into the recovery menu then restored my pspTook a while to install but truly worth the time.
