I got my USB cable from the dollar tree. Works like a charm.
Chain stores make crazy profits off cables like these. I remember seeing one at Circuit City for ~$25 when I worked there and after the employee discount (only pay cost+shipping) it was ~$3. Hence the pressure to sell these cables if you work there.

I usually get mine free packaged with other electronic crap I buy. I have like 30-40 of those laying around.
