No garage is a totally different form of music I know that because I had to do research on most every music style for my GCSE coursework. Rap in England is still called Rap.

I thought Garage was Rap? Just goes to show that I don't know those scenes (I don't listen to them), but they seem kinda similar thou.

Anyways, aside from listening to obligatory Pitbull, most all the hip-hop and rap I listen to has little to do with bitches, fo-fos, or spinnurz.

The Roots and Blackalicious are my favorite American groups:




The Roots are most known for their amazing live sound and flow. I've seen them before and it was unforgettable, 10+ minute medleys and whatnot.



If you look for any of their stuff I reccomend Rhythm Sticks and Sky is Falling.

Then there's all the great rap that is neither: Orishas(Cuban), Infinite Mass(Sweedish), Hilltop Hoods(Australian), etc

KRS-One, Rakim, NaS, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Outkast, 2Pac, A Tribe Called Quest, Atmosphere, AZ, Bone Thugs, Common, Ice Cube, Jedi Mind Tricks, Tech N9ne. See the pattern.

But the only English rapper i have heard is Sway and he isn't that bad.
