Custom firmware 3.40 OE-A released already !!

OK, I want to update to 3.40 OE-A (I'm still on 3.03 OE) very soon, but I need to know the following:

- Where can I get the Popstation.exe and files for this firmware? I plan to update my ISOS but I can't find the files.

- Does this Custom firmware support PSP to PS3 connectivity? My brother in P.R. needs to know.

Im a big noob when it comes to the PSP system. I bought my PSP a few days ago and the salesperson advised me to update to 3.40 because it was the new version.
so i went home and the first thing i did was downloading the new version, but it after i looked about psp's on the net a bit more, i found out about all the homebrew applications and such. so i downloaded plenty of custom firmwares and programs, but none of them worked.
i have spent a few days on it but i havnt got it working yet. the last one i tried was to install dark alex's 3.40. i do all that is required on the installation instructions but when i run the file that are saved on the PSP/game folder, it says "this application cannot be run".
i dont really know wat to do, i know that you prob get a lot of these questions but i really appreciate any help from anyone.

What firmware version is on the psp right now?

Well what version PSP do you have, go to system information, if you have 3.40 your screwed. You have to have a 3.03 or lower firmware so you can downgrade it and then after you downgrade to 1.5 THEN is when you can get to 3.40 OE-A (or any custom firmware). This is the only way you can get the CF's working, right now there are only 3.03 downgraders now, 3.40 one will take A WHILE. Trust me, and please remember the downgraders that do come out are from regular people taking time to make them for FREE, so you can't rush them they'll get it out when they can (it's a long hard proccess because you have to find a leak or hole in the official Sony firmwares). Been out of the homebrew scene for about a month now and just upgraded to 3.40 oe-a. I have flashed a theme but am wondering how i remove the psp and playstation portable sign from the gameboot. Please help?
