I think rumour too, thats why sites that allow these rumours are crap...

Well there was a rumored 2.71 downgrader, and now we have a real one. I'm sure there will be a 2.8 downgrader, because the tiff exploit was only patched in 2.81.

I wonder why the 2.71 downgrader doesn't also work in 2.7 or 2.8.
