Monitor w/o headphone jack, wants to use headphones.

So when using headphones, you normally turn the volume up loud?

That is a function of an amplified output, a line out is unamplified and quiet, so the issue is will it be loud enough not too loud.

I could be wrong and it may be loud enough, a proper line out shouldn't sound loud on headphones though.

Ah, I get it now. Yeah, I normally turn it up loud. I'm willing to take the chance with the line out since it's only going to cost me a few dollars.

Okay, I went to RadioShack today and bought some things similar to the Y-cable that was linked on the first page. In total, it costed me $10 and I can confirm that it works! The volume is just perfect too, so thanks for all the help guys.
