btw i started my second playthrough and i wanna beat minarva (already did lik 45% of the sidemissions i can upload my save if you want
lol Not many actually, I did about 20 or so. I wanted to do all of the missions but got turned off after the gauntlet missions (1000 enemies?!). I'm definitely going to go back to it later, after I... purchase the UMD.
But for now, I just want to play FF7 next.

EDIT: Sonic, I think I read somewhere that the missions add about another 50-60 hours of playtime.

EDIT: EDIT: Does the game save your mission progress when you complete the game? I didn't check.

Oh cool, I saved it after the credits. I might start over in hard mode next week because I'm getting the game then.

Eh, I only used DMW items during the final battles because I didn't expect my Vital Slash to do 9999 damage every time. XD

what is vital slash is it strong my normal attacks already do 8000 to 9000 damage (I have a plus 100 attack, plus 100vit materia and a plus 999%hp materia)

edit: how the **** can you use DMW materia like ifrit materia or bahamut materia???

Vital Slash is similar to Cloud's Braver overdrive, but without the jump. I didn't have the +100 items or the 999% materia, so I relied on VS during certain battles.

The Summon-materia don't need to be equipped, the summon will randomly select the overdrive once you have extra materia (at least that's what I think).

I had this one materia that was supposed to be used in materia fusion but when I went to materia fusion, it never showed up. I'll check the name of it after I get the game next week.
