It's supposed to aautostart the PSP. A menu should then come up asking what you wanna do like install the original or the custom firmware.
Hey all,
Recently, i saw despertar v5 come out, so it will help me, so i dont need to load 3.90 after 3.80m33 right?
Here's the thing:
I did everything in the install manual, mspformat etc. and then when i put the pandora's battery in, the memstick glows, then just my psp shuts on. As in, when i put the pandora battery in, it just autostarts my psp. What did i do wrong??
PS. I used to always use despertar v3 and it worked fine.
It's supposed to aautostart the PSP. A menu should then come up asking what you wanna do like install the original or the custom firmware.
Hold L button then put the battery in.

At first I was a little surprised that my Phat PSP booted directly to the XMB with the Pandora battery in.
I had installed DC5 over DC4
I formated the memory stick and ran mspformat again.
Then installed DC5.
That fixed it.
I used Pandora_CMD to
1. format the memory stick
2. run mspformat again
I stopped short of installing any of the firmware options and then ran the DC5 install.
The instructions say to just run mspformat again if there are any errors.
So thats all you might have to do.
I really really like this solution!
This makes it very easy to use a pandora battery as a regular battery very easily.
