Has anyone been able to save in Super Mario RPG? I can save once, then I get an Error -70 message. It's really odd. I really want to play it, has anyone found a way around this problem?

My memory card works just fine and I can save on all the other games (Earthbound, Lufia, Yoshi's Island, etc.).

Oh btw, thanks Vicious, this emulator is excellent!

I had this same problem with Seiken Densetsu 3. Just try using a different 3rd party memory card... a blank one preferably.

    Error -7 0 in SMRPG?

That's strange, it works fine for me.

Try changing the rom's internal name with a hex editor. I had the same problem and doing so fixed it for some reason.

I get an Error -90 message. I've read the entire thread and I know I have to change the rom's internal name with a hex editor, but I have absolutely no clue on how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Would it be possible for someone to send me their version of Mario RPG that works (already has the hex editor used on it)?

If not, that's fine, I'll try to work it out myself. It also has never saved on any emulators I've played on my PC, so clearly it does not want me to experience the awesomeness that is supposed to be SMRPG.

Get that, open it, load the rom, ctrl+f SUPER (case-sensitive), and change one letter to something else. Save and put it on the card.

As for the -9 error, according to card.h, it means you don't have enough space on the memory card to save.
