Special rules for VBA Emulator?

Ok, i have the emulator from this website. (I'm very new at this so bare with me) I have the Harvest Moon friends of Mineral Town on my computer. This file is called trm-hmmt.gba (if you're wondering thats what its called). So i have the KXploit tool 0.3 and it's already on my PSP. Just when I start it the program starts like a regular UMD game and then it goes back to my home screen. I think there are some special rules for VBA games. So if anyone could give me a DETAILED post on how to fix this. Also I want to know if there are any other games that are good for VBA. Thanks alot.

Also, what firmware version is your PSP ?

yeah...go read up on a homebrew on a 1.5 guide.
and there are special rules for the gba emulator if u bothered to read the read-me, but you shouldnt really use the gba emulator as it is unplayable.
