Your Micro SD doesn't have Taiwan printed on it? If you have a Japan one or old one from your phone lying around give that a try. The newer Taiwan ones actually run faster. And the M3 doesn't seem to be compatable with them.
right well i got a m3 real card this morning at 9am.
for me its now 2pm and the time in between has been spent with me trying to get this thing to work.
i've tried all sorts of different system versions, from 2.4 to 3.2, only one of which has actually worked.
but the one that worked ceased to work after the ds had been turned off and on again.
with every power on it either goes white after the safety message or shows the m3 real logo and then loads and stays that way forever.
i'm really at my wits end.
i'm wondering if a cheap 1gb micro sd card could be responsible. its the only thing i haven't played around with.
i've even done re-formatting and trying different regions.
someone help!

HDTach is a useful utility. Run it and if you get any where near
Ra 0.9ms 18.0mb/s
Then the M3 won't run.
Older ones read;
Ra 0.7ms 10.1mb/s
And work fine.
