Yeah, so i needed to rip the movie The Namesake to my computer, (dont worry, i own the darn thing) get a particular indian song from that movie, and now i need to convert that avi file that i clipped off (with the song) to .mp3 to bring into class tomorrow
What I need-a .DLL file or some sort of update for windows media player so i can "find the codec"
I had this problem before with a season of a show i downloaded but forgot what i needed to do to resolve the issue.
Know what file(s) I need to get guys? I am like 99% percent positive i have the most updated Windows Media player and all that good jazz...

You can use Gspot to tell you the codec that the audio/video streams in an avi container use.
