I used to hear this song called I'm sorry by Buckcherry on the radio, and they dont sound like glam at all these days.

They are more of a Hard Rock band, but many of its songs contain Glam Metal influences.

Post-Grunge is another genre. We are talking about Grunge.
There's only one Grunge group being active on a major label and releasing albums, and that's Pearl Jam.

Then if we look at Glam Metal groups, we have Def Leppard, Van Halen, Poison, Mötley Crüe, Dokken, Bon Jovi (with different sound actually), Buckcherry, Whitesnake, etc, getting success on the US.[IMG]file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/HP_ADM%7E1/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.jpg[/IMG]
Also in Scandinavia, Glam Metal is even more popular with groups like Crashdïet, Europe and Hardcore Superstar reaching the top 10 at the charts.


But one of the reasons that Glam Metal is more popular than Grunge is because Glam Metal had a longer life at the top of the mainstream music (8 years).

Glam Metal incorporated Heavy Metal elements. Try listening Mötley Crüe and early Def Leppard (1980-83) and you will notice that clearly. Since the mid 80s, many Glam Metal groups added Pop elements and it was hard to notice the Metal sound, I understand why you're confused.

I went to a SONY store, and they don't even sell PlayStation3's? They told me they do on their website though, and then told me to goto GameStation across the road?

Luckily I was just wasting their time, as they had no customers (didn't see why I had to be a customer). :rofl:
