Memory Size and Price

Hi everyone i was wondering if it will be a good idea to buy a 512mb memory stick pro duo and not the 1gb will i be able to backup my games with this memory size or are there(or will be) games bigger that require the 1gb memory?
You see here in greece the 512 mb is priced 70-75 euros(sony and sandisk) and the 1 gb 145 euros!I im thinking of buying it from the internet do you know any good e-shops with good prices and europian union shipment? (i'm currently thinking of buying from lik-sang).

i bought my 512mb stick from ebay for about £40 and as you can see from my signature it fits a lot of stuff on it!
