Dcsnes Help!!!!!

Hi, My boyfriend and I have been fighting this long ended battle of trying to get the DCSNES to work and burn and all that fun stuff. You see I tried searching for numerous FAQS, TUTORIALS, just about anything you can think of to try and guide me for it being able to work. First off when i first orginally downloaded the dreamsnes and tried running the installer i got a message saying Probe for CD-ROM units failed. Only image file creation will be available also some target not being found either.So then I downloaded something called Daemon and well it stop saying it then. But also when i tried Boot dreams and also Disc Juggler it wouldnt show my cd burner it would say a dvd rom drive and when i used that it didnt work. Also I dont have a dvd rom drive..... So if anyone could help that would be awesome and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks ~Elizabeth~

BootDreams is the best image creation & burning app. You probably need a ASPI fix to get it to recognize your burner. Get it from LyingWake's website too:

You need a CDR, CDRws won't work.

Edit: Also, if you got problems with burning, try to download an image from http://www.dcevolution.net and burn that to see if you can get it to work before you try creating your own Dreamcast image.

A good alternative for image creation is SBInducer v4:

I use Alcohol 120% to burn images. Try the TAO mode.
