i aint sure if he is lying cos this happened to me i remember seeing 1.52 then 1.50 not long after.. but i updated to 2.0

before i knew about emu's n $#@!

Doing that won't downgrade your firmware.
Don't even toy with them, Giga.
Everyone knows that it unlocks the 2.0 to run homebrew and safely raises your processor speed to 1.2Ghz.
