in need of help with Pandora

my friend has a pandora and memory stick and for some reason when he ups the psp to custom firmware the psp is stuck with the wallpaper it had before the downgrade (ive only seen him do it on slims) like if i changed the wallapaper and turned off the psp and turned it back on it will go back to the previous wallpaper. is there a way to fix that?

also im getting a psp slim and i know that you cant downgrade it unless you use the pandora i dont want to use it if im going to be stuck with just 1 wallpaper. how would i go about downgrading it to 1.5 with a pandora and then upgrading to custom firmware?

I think your friend is not as skilled as you think
try using the feature on recovery menu that says format flash1, that might fix your wallpaper issue

In case you have no Idea what recovery menu is, turn off your psp (no sleep mode) and then turn it back on while holding the "R" button navigate through the options and look for the one that says format flash1 and press X
