Def Leppard's new single to hit GH III before retail
via Tech Universe
In what has to be a first for the music industry and the video game industry (and probably a very smart marketing move), Def Leppard will release their new single "Nine Lives" off their forthcoming album "Songs from the Sparkle Lounge", as part of the "Def Leppard Pack" for Guitar Hero III before it hits stores or digital download. The pack will be available for all you US (and I hope Canada) rockers on April 24th!

I don't know who Def Leppard is, but I'm guessing deals like this will help make GH stand out from Rockband in the future.

Hopefully they do the whole, free for a day thing. I don't get to the city often enough to buy microsoft points. I'm excited for this
