    Default Just a question

I have a psp and I want to hack it. Will the fact that I use MAC OS X and PPC linux going to change how I manage to do this? I'm a little overwhelmed by all the methods here and I'd like to know if there's going to be an issue with my operating systems before I start on this. Thanks!

There will not be any problem. What do you want to do exactly?

Well, just to start off hacking this thing. I like the idea of just running ISOs off my memory stick rather than having to carry my games around with me. And being able to emulate other systems sounds cool to me.

Oh good. Then you need a custom firmware, and the latest is 3.90 m33-3 by Dark Alex.

It depends on what firmware you have, though.

I have v. 2.81. Unless I'm mistaken I'll have to get that puzzle game and downgrade to 1.5 before updating to the latest cfw
