Newbie question on CFW 3.71 / 3.80 M33

Hi all

I am still fairly new to the PSP, custom firmware and homebrew but I wonder if someone can help me with a question.

I'm currently using CFW 3.71 M33-4 and I want to connect my phat PSP to my Playstation 3 to use the remote play and other features on offer. Can I connect to the Playstation 3 using 3.71 M33-4 or do I need to upgrade to 3.80 M33? I have heard PSP remote play is only possible using 3.80 or 3.90 but don't know for definite and don't want to mess anything up.

In addition are there any other benefits to going to CFW 3.80 M33-5 over 3.71?

You can use it, as long as you haven't put the 1.50 kernel addon cause it deletes remoteplay and korean font when you install it
