    dude you can learn whatever the hell you want there are loads of options

    lua, c, c++,C#,java,phython

    i have tried my hands at a couple of these and so far lua has been the most noob friendly i,ve been at it for 2 days now.

    the main thing to know is that your not gonna become a god coder in one week and unless you are 80yrs old try a couple of languages and see which one you like

    as for what to start with i would say tutorials first to get a taste for it and then get a book

    good luck

    If you're ever looking into getting a job in the field of programming, definitely go with C, C++, C#, or Java. Those are pretty much the top 4 languages out there in the commercial sector today (not necessarily in that order).

    yeah, i would say go with C++, just because java doesnt run natively to an OS, C# is MS, which I despise, and C++ just seems to be a bit more popular than C. (and it will run on the PSP)
