GPS 290 reception problem

Softwares used:
1. MapThis0520
2. Fat PSP with 3.90 m33-2
3. Gmdl0.5.05


I can detect one or two satellite, , but it never show my current location with square button clicked (gps mode on), and the reception indicator is always with empty red rectangle.

I got:
GPS state on
I am able to browse the map.
configure file with: INITLOCATION=1 (Tried 2 also)

Its a stupid question but other ppl around here proved me wrong... ^^, are you trying too get satellites in your house? And from which country are you?.

You won't pick up a signal if your in your house

and it should'nt matter what country your in as long as you've got the map your gonna use

I asked him for his country cuz i wanted to know if he is from germany, we can talk then in our language, it is a lot easier for me then :P

I have alot of trouble getting a fix on a satellite although it does detect a few satellites here in Sydney Australia

my settings are :

FW : 3.10 OE-A
Mapthis 0.5XX
using the psp 290

Any idea on what i can do?

Also, i am doing all the obvious things like standing outside to try and get a lock
