    Well you're right, people don't upgrade as often as MS would want. But if MS had to share the market with a few other well-entrenched contenders, they wouldn't be charging half as much for their OS because they'd care more for market share.

    Since there is really no other contenders out there that compare (Mac requires a completely different system, cannot play most Windows games unless ported; Linux works good on some PC configurations but cannot play Windows games out of the box if at all) MS can afford to charge people huge bucks for the OS.

    As well the competition would made Windows/other OSes the best they can be with the minimal amount of fluff. Look at Vista, its damn near all fluff...

    [QUOTE=LewisCamel;2148061557]Mate...

    Does it play films?
    Doh!

    Do they look good?
    Colour compensation is usually a bit over the top but pretty good.

    Are you talking out your ass?
    You just watch the movies and know no background so how would you know?

    erm, id be happy for $30 blue rays, roughly £15 slightly more, i was in HMV the other day and most of the new releases we £25+ thats $50+!!! but then if you add in how much extra i payed for my ps3 compared to the american prices, and probably my tv too, they may aswell have given a dozen BR films away with the ps3 in the states. Winds me up. Cant really comment on BR's themselves as ive never actually watched one.
