Help with gps

I've tried everything short of stealing a psp with a 290 that works...

i've managed to get the GPS state on in mapviewer but i get 0 sat-in-view and 0 fixed satilites. Im using 5.2 so i assume i dont need the usbgps.prx and usbacc.prx (but i tried to no avail anyway). I have used every version of the .prx i could find as well (2.71 3.03 etc) I tried the green gps 290 tester only to see that everything is working correctly and my gps state = 3 location: 0. I'm running m33 3.71 on a TA -082. Please help, maybe i should be running 3.71 prx?

In the amount of time its taken me to try to fix this i could of earned enough money to buy a garmin lol

and in the wiki books it says that the usbgps.prx and usbacc.prx should be in a kn folder on the flash.....id ont have a kn folder for some reason...is that the problem?
