Doom 4 in development

In case you haven't heard IdSoftware is working on a new Doom game presumably for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

I checked around ID's career page, and they are not planning on giving the PSP any love. X360, PS3, PC, DS, and other mobile devices will get some ID loving but not the PSP.

Not to bothered about a psp incarnation, due to lack of two analog sticks. Personally, i could never get used to using the face buttons as a second analog...

However this is awesome news, i recently got back into Doom 3 and after finishing it again, im now working thru the expansion Resurrection of Evil.

Also does anyone know whether or not ID Software have/are delevoping a 4th Doom engine to run this game, or are they sticking with the Doom 3 one??
