ps3 Haze co-op demo now on PSN

    via Eurogamer

A demo of much-delayed shooter Haze has now been added to the PlayStation Store.

It was added on Tuesday, actually, but we forgot to tell you. We're wearing one of those spiky punishment belts to make up for it.

The Haze demo lets you romp around that sun-drenched Salva region, described as "the only place on earth where you can blow a stranger's head off with a jolly smile".

Those smiles can be shared with up to three friends in online co-op, or offline with just one friend in ye olde splitte-screene.

Haze will be released exclusively for PS3 on 23rd May.

Not a bad demo... The Nectar feature is pretty cool, and once you get the hang of making one of your soldier buddies OD and freak out on purpose, in the middle of a firefight, you start to grasp some of the fun strategies involved.

Oh and I love Split-screen... I don't say it often enough. Or maybe that's love getting drunk with friends and shooting them... Shrug

Took forever for me to download. Haven't tried it yet, but will later when I get time .

This PSN update was pretty meaty, had a few demos on there.

This is the first game as far as I know that's implemented in-game messaging. I can actually check all my messages or create a new message. It also allows you to check to see who's online.

EDIT: Not the first, but the first I've seen..
