Rocket League fell from the top spot of Steam's weekly best sellers chart for the first time since its launch, as Ark: Survival Evolved was able to retake peak position thanks to a discount offer.
Promotions meaningfully shook up the top five for the first time in nearly two months. Ark and Counter-Strike took advantage of their sales to finish one and two, respectively.
Rocket League dropped to third, pushing Grand Theft Auto V down one spot from its accustomed position over the last couple months, while new Left 4 Dead-themed content and a discount promotion for Zombie Army Trilogy had the game climbing up to round out the top five.
Former chart regular Payday 2 also had a good week, with its standard and GOTY editions both checking in on the top ten. From the full list:
- Ark: Survival Evolved
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Rocket League
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Zombie Army Trilogy
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
