Hatchet Ninjaz Mod Fixed

jjoepr has played around with the Hatchet Ninjaz mod and gotten it to work correctly as one PAK file on the Dreamcast, instead of having it split into two separate PAK files. The new CDI download is available from this Gamikaze topic.

This is a single CDI image of the updated original Hatchet Ninjaz MOD. Meaning It's a single disc. Some changes to the original Hatchet Ninjaz:

Replaced 2 characters that were too large for the Dreamcast memory.
They were replaced with predator002's character.

All ingame movies were moved to a section called "Movie Player" in the "Game Start" menu. Please note that you cannot select which movies you want to watch. As soon as you go into the movie player it will ask you to select a player and then the movies will start. You can skip them by pressing the button still. This was done due to memory issues with the Dreamcast.

Some sound effects were changed as well.

The PS2 still has memory issues and still locks up. Just tested playing with the music turned off and It still Locks up. But It's fully playable on Dreamcast with no crashes.


This CDI image is selfbootable on Dreamcast but will also play on a modded PS2 because all files are included in this CDI image. Thanks to Vision for this awesome mod and predator002 for his Ghouls and Ghosts return demo MOD which is where the sprites to replace the character were used from.

this fix may allow me to add a couple more characters to this MOD without any issues but sprite size has to be taken in to consideration.



Changing the Disc Will not Be necesary this is a single CDI image of the original Hatchet Ninjaz PAK which has been fixed to resolve some memory issues.
