Hey, I have a question about this. See, I attempted to mod my wii awhile back but failed miserably by buring a pad off, and now I have to solder to the chips IC legs. So I was wondering does this connect directly to the IC legs of the wii? Because if so I will defiantley be buying this!

Yes, the inside of the Wii-Clip, touches the IC legs.
