If I wasn't such a wuss I'd upgrade then downgrade again, but I'm afraid of bricking my psp or screwing my chances of homebrew.
Nice though.

Quick question to the people that have downgraded. Does this remove all the functions of 2.0 including web browser and photo sharing? Thanks for the info.
To answer this question, yes it removes everything from 2.0 firmware. I have successfully downgraded from JAP 2.0 to US 1.50. I'm in the US so I was a little afraid when the updater said "Update Failed: Please contact Sony Support....." but after a reboot of the system, it went through the same process that it went through when I turned it on new and for the first time.Quick question to the people that have downgraded. the ROOT of the mem stick is the actual drive letter.
So if your connected via USB to your computer, in USB mode, your PSP shows up as X:/ (where X is your PSP drive letter). You would put those files in X:/ (where X is your PSP drive letter).
So, mine is F:/ (my psp drive letter). I would just double click on F: and place the files directly on the PSP in the F: drive. example:
f:/h.bin
f:/index.dat
Hope that clears it up.
thanks anyway!
thats crap it came from this website http://www.sonyxteam.com/index.php
