All I can say id I read this forum and this post and I am happy to say. I have now got a Sony PSP firmware 1.5. Thanks you all for your help. If anyone out there wants to downgrade to 1.5 like I did but are worried like I was dont. Read this post because I did every thing it said and it worked.

I dont understand! help me please. what does the copy EBOOT.PBP bit mean? do i copy a file called EBOOT.PBP or do i just copy the words EBOOT.PBP into my UPDATE folder? PLZ write back.

Hey i have downloaded the mphdowngrade from this forum and then click extract but nothing is there to extract so i was stuck on that part and were do i find the eboot and the other files
